Financing, explained honestly

$0 Down. Approval Not Based on Your Credit Score.

Unsecured Financing

Not in the county-program zone, or prefer financing that doesn't touch your property taxes? We offer unsecured options with fast approvals.

  • Fixed monthly payments

In your free evaluation we show every option side by side — total cost, monthly amount, and which incentives stack with each — so you pick with full information.

Stack every incentive

The Money Nobody Tells You About

💵

Up to $500 Sales-Tax Refund

Florida's HB 7031E (effective July 1, 2026 through 2029) refunds sales tax on impact windows, doors, and garage doors for homesteaded homes. We handle the paperwork with you.

🏛️

My Safe Florida Home Grants

The state's grant program was re-funded with over $405M in 2026 — matching grants up to $10,000 for wind-mitigation upgrades on eligible homes. We'll tell you if you're a fit.

📉

Insurance Mitigation Credits

Florida Statute 627.0629 requires insurers to discount wind-mitigated homes. Impact openings + a code-compliant roof can meaningfully cut the wind portion of your premium, every year.

What it feels like monthly

Think in Monthly Terms, Not Sticker Price

A $20,000 whole-home window project financed over a long program term often lands near the cost of a family dinner out each month — before counting what you get back in insurance and energy savings. For many homes, the savings offset a meaningful share of the payment.

In your evaluation we put three numbers side by side: your payment, your estimated savings, and your true net monthly cost. You decide with all three in front of you.

Example: The Real Math*

Whole-home impact windows$20,000
Monthly assessment (spread over term)~$120–$180/mo
Typical insurance savings–$60 to –$200/mo
Energy savings–$20 to –$50/mo
Feels likeA fraction of the payment

*Illustrative ranges — your exact numbers depend on your home, term, and insurer, and are shown in your free evaluation before you sign anything.

Financing questions

Asked Constantly, Answered Straight

What is the county-approved financing program?

It's a home-improvement financing program authorized by Florida law and approved by Hillsborough County. It funds hurricane protection and energy improvements through an assessment on your property tax bill. No down payment, no bank loan, and approval is based on your home equity and property-tax history — not your credit score.

Who qualifies in Hillsborough County?

Homes in unincorporated Hillsborough County with sufficient equity and property taxes current. Credit score is not part of the approval. We verify address eligibility for you in minutes — call (813) 513-0860.

What if my home isn't eligible?

We also offer unsecured financing that doesn't attach to your property. In your free evaluation we'll show you every option your home qualifies for, side by side.

Does the financing stay with the house if I sell?

The assessment is tied to the property. At sale it's typically settled from the sale proceeds at closing — or in some cases it can transfer to the new owner, since the improvements stay with the home. Your closing agent handles it like any other assessment — and impact windows and a new roof typically raise the sale price.
